Matthew White

Hi, I'm Matthew, and since graduating from the Queensland and Melbourne Conservatoriums, I have performed with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra, the Australian National Academy of Music, Opera Australia’s 2017 season of Aida, Camerata, Queensland Ballet and the Australian International Symphony Orchestra Institute. Internationally I have performed at the Beijing International Bands Festival and with various brass ensembles throughout Bavaria, Germany.

I have been teaching brass to beginner and advanced students since 2015, focusing on sound, technique, and enjoyment of the instrument. Specializing in euphonium and tuba, and currently the Tuba/Euphonium tutor at St Peters Lutheran College, I enjoy helping students aspire to high performance standards and reach their goals, whether for an AMEB exam, auditions for ensembles or high school entry, or personal enjoyment.
