Matthews Tyson is a highly-experienced and qualified teacher, conductor and music examiner. He is the Director of the St Cecilia School of Music & Examinations as well as the Australian Society of Musicology and Composition. He provides tuition principally in Launceston, Tasmania but conducts masterclasses and private lessons to students throughout Australia, New Zealand, Italy and parts of Asia. His lessons are comprehensive, concentrated and well-structured. His many successful students are now performers and teachers themselves and are a testament to his vast skill and knowledge.
