I am currently studying my last year of a bachelor’s degree in Music Education at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Having been learning the violin and piano at a young age, my passion for music has grown with the years of dedication and desire in expressing myself through the range of music both these instruments have to offer.
Having been an avid member of the Ascham School community during my schooling years, I participated in a variety of ensembles - highlights which included leading the Cameratta String Ensemble and the Ascham Symphony Orchestra as concertmaster.
I have completed both the examinations in Grade 8 AMEB Violin and Piano, achieving a distinction in Violin and now working towards obtaining my associate (AMusA) with esteemed violinist and educator, Janet Davies from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
Currently, I am a violinist in The Gigue Quartet, performing for wedding and corporate events, as well as internationally acclaimed artists such as Harrison Craig, Boy George and Moein. I believe that skills and talent may vary from one another, however the ability to express one’s self is truly universal when music can become a tool for communication and a bridge in connecting two very different people.
Nurturing our students with an integrated approach to understanding music theory creates a meaningful experience when learning any instrument. I hope to deliver my passion and drive to my students and unlock the potential each student holds.
