Hi! I'm Lily :)
I'm a 19 year old University student currently studying at UQ!
I've studied music for over 14 years now!
I started at the Conservatory of music in Saint-Claude, France where I learnt cello, music theory and singing for 2 years.
I then moved to Australia on the Gold Coast and enrolled at Varsity College in 2015. I learnt from Mr. David Maddick, Mrs. Michelle Wilson, and Ms. Nicky Griffith over the years, all of which have shaped the way I play and how much I love music!
Throughout this schooling curriculum I have played in orchestra for 9 years, I had the chance to join Chamber strings and occasionally performed with a quartet.
I have been performing on stage since I can remember, both in little out-of-school plays when I was young and in-school musical as I grew up. I took part in countless school events, concerts, and more. In my senior years of high school at Cavendish Road State High School I was entrusted with pre-show and intermission musical entertainment :)

All of this to say, that although I do not have many professional experiences I think I have a lot to bring to beginners and performers!
I am very keen to share my passion for music and teach beginning students or more intermediate students, to polish down the basics of technique, but also to inspire future musicians to have musicality, passion, and love their craft!
