Melissa Buddle

I am a Sunshine Coast local and recent graduate of the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University where I completed a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in 2025. I teach Upper Strings at a local private school, and have a growing private studio of violin, viola and cello students.

I perform frequently with many groups across theSunshine Coast and Brisbane, including Cadenza Chamber Players and the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra, where I will be concertmaster starting 2026.

In my opinion, learning an instrument should be enjoyable and have a well balanced challenge to provide inspiration, motivation and personal growth. I enjoy learning each student's individual personality and adjusting my teaching to best support them. If students become interested in taking AMEB music exams or entering Eisteddfods, I am able to support and prepare them for the exams.

My availability is quite limited, but I am happy to discuss further.

Lesson prices: $87 per hour, with options of 30-minute, 45-minute or 60-minute lessons.
