Fully qualified teacher with over 30 years experience in private studio settings, public school system and private school system.
Private lessons are offered in Piano (Beginner to Licenciate) AMEB exam preparation, Con Brio Exam Preparation, Music Scholarship Preparation, Eisteddfod Preparation, Concert Opportunites throughout the year, Music Workshops, Music Recording and Pop Music repertoire.
My studio is a purpose built, comfortable, fully air-conditioned area that features 2 grand pianos and 2 digital pianos.
I thoroughly enjoy planning and providing lessons for musicians of all ages. Lessons are offered Monday to Saturdays during school terms.
I teach with gentle, yet thorough pedagogical techniques. I appreciate that each student attends lessons with different levels of commitment and different personal goals and I only provide one on one, private lessons to encourage each student to achieve their own goals.
My students currently range in age from 5 to 80 years of age with varying goals and interests.
I have had many successful music scholarship applicants to many schools in Adelaide including Pembroke School, St Ignatius' College, St Mary's, St Andrew's School as well as successful applicants to the Marryatville Specialist Music Program.
I understand that some students learn music purely for their own pleasure and that others learn with the aim to achieve the highest possible exam results and be successful applicants to scholarships. I work tirelessly to assist every student to achieve their goals.
