Mia Huang

Mia is a music student majoring in piano performance at the ANU. She currently tutors for the music development program at the ANU Open School of Music, as well as for the ANU tertiary music theory peer-assisted learning program.

She is the recipient of multiple prizes and awards, including the 2016 ANU Margaret Smiles Accompaniment Prize, equal 1st and audience choice prize in the 2018 Whitworth Roach Classical Music Performance Competition, and the ACT Young Virtuoso Award. She has been a Wesley Music Scholar since 2015.

Mia actively performs in and around the ACT and NSW regions, and has given solo piano recitals in Canberra and Bundanoon.

She enjoys collaborating with other musicians and meeting new friends, and is happy to accompany for all occasions - competitions, concerts, exams etc.
