Michael Cheong

Greetings to y'all. I'm a piano accompanist for any students of any instrument undertaking AMEB Grades 1-10 or ABRSM Grades 1-8. I was previously a piano/ violin teacher in Hong Kong coaching students of variable age groups with a collaborative approach, aiming to uphold student's interest towards music whilst improving their technique. Consequently, students and their families were happy with their progresses, they were able to perform the music as they wanted to.

Apart from piano/ violin coaching, I am also experienced in orchestral performances. I was part of Ponte Singers & Orchestra (Hong Kong) as a violinist and was privileged to perform works by Mahler, Brahms and Beethoven etc. I also performed with Burwood Student Theatre Co. in their musical production - 'twisted', as a pianist. I certainly enjoyed the collaborative environment for any big-scale production. As such, I am thrilled to continue collaborative music - as your piano accompanist.
