Michael offers modern music lessons in Electronic Music Production, Composition, DJing and Music Theory for Electronic Musicians.
This is a great way to get into DJing or music production, or to learn sound synthesis or music theory. Lessons are also available for children as young as 7 who have an interest in learning to DJ or who aspire to write the next pop hit or dubstep/techno song. I can also teach musicians how to incorporate Ableton and a laptop into their live shows with looping, samples, effects or backing tracks, or with midi pad controllers and midi keyboards.
Michael is a professional DJ who works in the Wedding and corporate event space. He uses Traktor Pro2 software for DJing and Ableton Live 9 for music production. He has played with many bands using Ableton Live with midi controllers and the Ableton Push. He has been the keynote speaker for the Ableton User Group at the Arts Centre Melbourne, where he spoke about Music Theory for Electronic Musicians and Playing the Push as an Instrument in a Live Context.
Having your own equipment is not necessary, and in the first lesson, I can show the cheapest way to get started in either DJing and Music Production
