Harmonica lessons from the winner of the Australian Golden Harmonica Championships.

Lessons available to learn blues, jazz, folk songs or old Australian songs. Harmonica is an easy instrument to learn and is an ideal first instrument for people of any age (many people I have taught have started in their 60s and even 70s. I have also taught kids how to play and I myself started getting lessons at age 12).

Harmonica can be taught by ear (listening and repeating), using numbers/tablature, or at a more advanced level, by reading music. Can learn to bend notes, overblow, play in 1st, 2nd and 3rd position.

Michael is a national award-winning musician and multi-instrumentalist who has taught in some of the most prestigious music schools in Melbourne including Allen’s Billy Hyde in Bourke St Melbourne CBD, The Sound Lab in Prahran, and Manhattan School of Music in Eltham.

Recommended lessons time is 1hr, as this allows for a deeper and more interesting approach to learning music with all the elements being covered. All ages welcome.
