Guitar Lessons with Experienced and Recommended Teacher

Learn guitar from a highly qualified and recommended teacher with 20 years experience. All ages, skill levels and styles are welcome. I always try to tailor every lesson to the individual student - what level they are at, what they are interested in learning and what I can recommend for them to work on.

I am the author of a guitar book entitled 'Modern Guitar' which is widely used and has successfully taught hundreds of students, I have received a WA Music Industry award for performance and I hold a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Australia.

My teaching method is designed to cover technique and theory in an exciting and comprehensive way, starting from scratch through to an advanced level, by teaching an adaptable selection of contemporary music that is enjoyable and relevant to learn. This method has been thoroughly tested and refined over the course of 20 years, and has been proven to receive consistently positive responses and outcomes from students - see the 'testimonials' section and my Google reviews! Students of mine have received music scholarships, have had great results in WACE music exams, have studied music at a tertiary level and have become successful performing artists.

Lessons are taught from my home music studio in Mount Lawley. I can also occasionally accomodate lessons at students' houses depending on my schedule.

I genuinely love my work and take pleasure and pride in seeing students improving and music performance becoming a positive influence in their lives.

I also offer lessons in drums, bass guitar, ukulele, music theory, composition and recording/mixing.

I hope to hear from you soon!
