The majority of Michael’s students receive A+ (High Distinction) in piano AMEB grade and theory exams and include local and international prize winners and successful music school entrance auditions.
15 years of experience teaching piano to 3 years and up in a fun and engaging way with structured long term goal planning.
Preparation for all AMEB grades, the A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A diplomas and tertiary students.
Regular student/teacher recitals, with opportunities to enter Eisteddfods and competitions.
Providing piano accompaniment for those learning a second instrument.
Michael was a jury member in the 2016 ACASEA International Piano Competition, and is a seasoned performer with appearances at venues such as the Sydney Opera House, JPH, Verbrugghen Hall.
Michael completed his Masters of Music at the Australian Institute of Music in 2017 studying piano with Suzanna Hlinka and Wojciech Wisniewski, and performed in the Public Masterclasses of Inge Rosar and Alexey Sokolov.
