Teaching from Launceston, Michela (pronounced “MISH-eh-la”) has been teaching music since 2001. She is an experienced music teacher and understands the value of creativity and musical expression.
Completing a Bachelor of Education as a classroom teacher in 2006, Michela has a strong understanding of the process involved in teaching and learning. Michela is also a registered St. Cecilia School of Music teacher for piano and music theory.
Michela teaches with fresh, productive and innovative methods, and continually renew and advance her teaching skills through professional learning so that she is better able to improve musical skills of her students.
Michela has students of all ages, experience, and skill level: beginners to advanced players, and everywhere in between.
Michela enjoys working with children, teenagers and adult students.
Piano lessons are a wonderful foundation for later study on other musical instruments as they help to develop the required notation reading and general musicianship skills.
