Violin Lessons

My teaching method is based on developing aural skills as well as sight-reading and orchestral skills.
I seek to not only teach my students well but to inspire a love and appreciation of music and encourage students to play a variety of different styles. I can teach both Suzuki violin and AMEB repertoire having learnt both as a student myself. In general, my teaching always focuses on working to develop a beautiful tone and control of the bow. For more advanced students, developing a mature appreciation of phrasing and musicality in their playing as well as continuously developing technique. I encourage students to listen to a variety of music and to explore their unique style of expression through music.
