I have moved to Melbourne from Vancouver, Canada in 2016 for further education. I am currently enrolled at the University of Melbourne pursuing my Doctorate in Physiotherapy.
I have more than 10 years of experience in teaching music, in particular piano, violin and viola and music theory. I am able to develop excellent rapport with both my students and their parents, and I always feel extremely privileged to be able to share my love for music to both developing and more advanced learners alike.
My current qualifications from Canada include performance diplomas from the Associate of the Canadian Royal Conservatory of Music in Performance for both Viola and Piano, and also Grade 10 in Violin. I have also played as part of an orchestra and competed in Chamber music, and bring along with me a wealth of experience in playing at a performance level. I can provide a copy of my CV and references on request.
I am also fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese, and am able to communicate in those languages if required.
Please do not hesitate to send me an email or a text message at 0481-145-028 if you have any questions in relation to my lessons or teaching style, or if you have any concerns at all. Lessons will be conducted in the comfort of the student's home, however alternative arrangements can be made if required.
I look forward to hearing from you! :)
