I am a music teacher with more than 10 years of experience teaching the Piano, Violin, Viola, and Music Theory to students of all ages and backgrounds. My goal is to foster a creative environment where your child is motivated to practice and learn music. I believe that having a solid foundation in music is the key ingredient to lifelong learning and thus enable them to continue their journey in music, and I always feel extremely privileged to be able to share my love for music to both developing and more advanced learners alike.
I currently hold a diploma from the Associate of the Canadian Royal Conservatory of Music in Performance in both Piano and the Viola, and have reached Grade 10 in Violin. I have also completed Advanced Rudiments, Harmony and History. I have played as part of an orchestra in the past and competed in Chamber music, and bring along with me a wealth of experience in playing at a performance level.
I am fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese and am able to communicate in these languages if required.
I have moved to Melbourne from Vancouver, Canada in 2016 for further education. I am currently enrolled at the University of Melbourne pursuing my Doctorate in Physiotherapy. I am able to create an excellent rapport with both my students and their parents, which facilitates the learning process and helps my students achieve their maximum potential. I am more than happy to provide my CV and references upon request.
Please do not hesitate to send me an email or a text message at 0481-145-028 if you have any questions in relation to my lessons or teaching style, or if you have any concerns at all. Lessons will be conducted in the comfort of the student's home, however alternative arrangements can be made if required.
I look forward to hearing from you!
