Hi!
I’m Mike, a guitar tutor based in the Northern Suburbs. I’ve been teaching guitar for over 10 years and have worked with students of all levels and abilities (Including primary and high school students).
I’ve performed at festivals such as WOMADelaide, Strawberry Fields, and the Canberra International Folk Festival, plus many more. As a seasoned performer, I focus on strategies that prepare students for real-world playing, including coping with stage fright, accurate transcription of pieces and improvisation.
I studied at the Elder Conservatorium of Music, hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC), and have experience preparing students for AMEB and ANZCA exams.
Rates:
• $40 - 30 minutes
• $70 - 1 hour
