Violin/Viola Lessons

I am a violinist/performer/educator based in the Inner West - I conduct lessons in my home in Summer Hill. I have 7+ years of teaching experience and two decades of violin-playing experience. I graduated with a BMus (Performance) with Honours from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music after studying under Professors Alice Waten and Goetz Richter.

I am committed to imparting on my students a genuine joy for music and love for learning. My students have had success preparing a range of goals - from family concerts to AMEB examinations. I strive to work with the student and the family to develop goals, processes and repertoire that work for you.

I offer violin lessons mostly on the weekend, but some after school timeslots may be available too. Due to my performing schedule, lesson time may occasionally have to be flexible but I will provide plenty of warning month to month.

I play with the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, Willoughby Symphony Orchestra, Ensemble Apex and also work as a Lead Writer for NSW for Cutcommon Magazine (a classical music online publication).

I teach all levels of violin as well as beginner/intermediate viola.
