Natalie Dajski grew up on Magnetic Island off Townsville in a family full of musicians. Her Dad is still a local jazz trumpeter in the area & all his kids grew up listening to jazz music, attending gigs & classical concerts and even playing in his bands. Natalie learnt clarinet & saxophone and went on to study at the Conservatorium of Music after school. She joined the Army in 2000 and has been playing in the Band of the Royal Military College for 6 years. She has represented Australia overseas in Switzerland, Japan, Tonga & most recently in France for the Centenary Events of the Battles on the Western Front. She has performed as a soloist with the band on several occasions.
