Natalya studied at the University of Newcastle with Susan Collins, graduating with Honours in Music Performance in 2010 and has since been a freelance violinist and educator.
Previously based in Sydney, she regularly worked with orchestras, chamber ensembles and bands in the classical and rock music scenes. She is also a regular touring musician.
As an educator, Natalya has over 10 years of experience and has taught individual and group lesson to students at Newcastle Conservatorium, Shore School, Stanmore Public School and Leichhardt Public School, including conducting ensembles and school orchestras. She is passionate about teaching and has guided many students through AMEB music and school exams who have all achieved excellent results.
Natalya has studied the Alexander technique on violin with Janet Davies which is a valuable method in teaching efficient and healthy violin technique to students of any age.
She is currently studying a Masters of Music at the University of Tasmania and is living in Hobart.
