Nattanan has completed both his Bachelor of Music (Performance) and Master of Music Studies (Performance) degree at the Sydney Conservatorium, University of Sydney. He studied with Sue Newsome and later with Frank Celata during his postgraduate studies on the Zelma Oakley Dineley Scholarship.
During his undergraduate studies, Nattanan toured with the Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra in New Caledonia. In July 2013, he was invited to perform a recital program at the Australasian Saxophone and Clarinet Conference. Nattanan has also performed with the Sydney Chamber Opera, Sydney Independent Opera, The Metropolitan Orchestra, SBS Youth Orchestra, Sydney Youth Orchestra, Australian Youth Orchestra, NSW Police Band and was concertmaster of the North West Wind Ensemble.
Nattanan has been a prize winner at both national and state level competitions. On several occasions, he has won the Junior and Open Clarinet solo, and the Woodwind Champion of Champions at the Australian Yamaha National Band Championships. In 2012, Nattanan received first place for Clarinet (under 25) at the Sydney Eisteddfod.
In addition to his studies and performances, Nattanan has over 10 years experience teaching clarinet in his private studio, at various primary and high schools around Sydney, the Sydney Conservatorium Open Academy, and the Crashendo program at Laverton College.
Since 2017, Nattanan has been a full-time clarinetist with the Royal Australian Air Force Band based in Melbourne, performing as a member of the ceremonial band, concert band, wind quintet and clarinet quartet.
