Nava is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and music producer who is also a passionate teacher.
Making appearances at the annual Yamaha Keyboard Festival from 2012 – 2014, Nava also appeared as featured musician at the statewide event, Creative Generation 2017.
In 2017, Nava won the international remix competition hosted by electronic music icon Moby, for his song ‘Are You Lost In The World Like Me?’. The remix was released on 12” vinyl via New-York-based label Little Idiot, alongside remixes by Blanck Mass and Moby himself.
Nava has recently also been named the winner of the international competition for ‘Nathan’s Despair’, which will be used in the upcoming film/TV adaptions of Roland Colton’s historical novel, ‘Forever Gentleman’. Nava has won the 25 years and under category in the 2018 Matt Withers composition competition, as well as his music being featured in the short documentary entitled ‘8-Bit Domination’, which is centred around the Australian chiptune & 8-bit music scene.
Nava has spent the past four years studying piano under the tutelage of Mr Oleg Stepanov, head of keyboard studies at the Queensland Conservatorium.
