Knowledge is the tool, what you build with it is up to you.

My main focus is increasing an individual’s song writing capabilities using multiple approaches for understanding and application of music theory.

Based on your personal musical ambitions, I will provide fundamental theory concepts and practice techniques with an emphasis on areas that align with your interests.

Lessons will provide you with an understanding of essential concepts on music theory, song writing, improvisation, production and composition that can be used to develop your personal composition and playing techniques.

There is no specific goal or set intentions in teaching until we have identified what you want to gain from the lessons. It is up to you to tell me what you want to accomplish so I can determine the most efficient approach to reach your goals.
Everyone is different and the best creative process is unique to each individual.

Before a first lesson, I offer a free introductory 30 minute consultation to understand what you want to learn.

Lessons are applicable for individuals looking for a creative outlet or an understanding of guitar, piano, vocals, Ableton, music theory and song writing. For current musicians, I can offer lessons for primary and high school, as well as diploma students. If you are planning on studying or planning to avoid a formal course all together, I would also highly recommend lessons to gauge what you can expect from undertaking a university course in music.
