Nhan Nguyen

As a passionate Jazz improviser, Nhan has been engaged with music for many years. Lessons are provided to be engaging and focused on the learning material that integrates with the individual.

Primary School Students

Lessons are focused on introducing student to sight reading basics. Together we will run through some common contemporary music with some basic triads. Aural training will also be worked on.

Secondary School Students

On top of basic sight reading, student will learn various chords and voicing, we will start to learn how a Jazz chart can be approached. The Piano for Leisure series is also highly recommended.

Adults

Adults are generally taught how to get through Jazz charts in various different ways. Will spend time mostly on chords and improvisation. Ultimately, the goal is to get the adult student to gig and perform as soon as possible.
