Nic Jaksa
I am a WAAPA-trained music teacher specialising in jazz and classical music. I play alto, tenor, soprano and baritone saxophone, as well as guitar, bass, piano and drums, with beginner-level ability on flute and clarinet.
I have 15+ years of saxophone playing experience, along with extensive ensemble and gigging experience. I also have strong knowledge of music theory and composition, helping students understand how music works, not just how to play their instrument.
I hold a Bachelor of Jazz Performance and a Diploma of Classical Performance from WAAPA, and I am currently studying a Postgraduate Diploma of Education.
I teach students of all ages and abilities, and tailor lessons to each individual’s goals. Influenced by musicians such as Michael Brecker, Bob Reynolds, Matt Styles and Jamie Oehlers, I believe that music is a language, and I aim to help students open their ears, build confidence, and enjoy making music.

Pricing - $80/hr
Availability - More then comfortable to travel to teach, face to face at home, or even online lessons
