Piano lessons catering around all styles of jazz piano. Solo, trio and ensemble playing. Covering piano styles, chord voicings, and improvisational techniques from trad, bebop, modern, latin, and more. Lessons are accommodated around your interests and goals.
For younger students my goal is to establish a solid foundation of piano technique, and have them enjoying playing and creating music. For older students, learning and lessons are structured around their goals. My aim as a teacher is to break down concepts and provide the stepping stones needed so students to achieve what they want to achieve. There is also a focus on piano technique in order to ensure that students can play healthily and sustainably.
All in-person lessons are available in-home, or at any suitable location of your choice, as I am not based in a studio. Traveling to most inner city Brisbane suburbs. Online lessons also available.

I have taught all levels from beginners to advanced musicians, in all styles, and have helped many students prepare for all levels of AMEB exams. I specialize in jazz and contemporary styles (funk, blues, etc.), piano technique, and jazz music theory.
