Piano Tuition for Exams or Leisure

Piano lessons for leisure or music examination, flexibly catered for your needs, and suitable for all ages and styles.

For younger students, my goal is to establish a solid foundation of piano technique and have them enjoy playing and creating music. For older students, learning and lessons are structured around their goals. My aim as a teacher is to break down concepts and provide the stepping stones needed so students to achieve what they want to achieve. There is also a focus on piano technique in order to ensure that students can play healthily and sustainably.

All in-person lessons are available in-home, or at any suitable location of your choice, as I am not based in a studio. Online lessons also available.

About me:
I am a pianist, keyboardist, and working musician based in Brisbane, Australia. I have been teaching music for many years in private teaching studios, schools, and student's homes. I hold a BMus in Performance from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, an AMusA from the Australian Guild of Music Education, and a Graduate Certificate in Education from the Queensland University of Technology.

I have taught all levels from beginners to advanced musicians, in all styles, and have helped many students prepare for all levels of AMEB exams. I specialise in jazz and contemporary styles (funk, blues, etc.), piano technique, and jazz music theory.
