I've been learning from Nick ever since COVID lockdown (over video chat) and couldn't recommend him highly enough. Nick is genuinely caring and always gives more than you could ask of him, ensuring that each lesson is fun and wholesome. His own passion for drums shines through in each lesson, reminding you why you're learning and leaving you even more eager to keep practising throughout the week. What more could a student ask for?
I highly recommend Nick. He has been teaching my 13yo son the drums for 3+ years and I can hear solid improvement every single lesson. I particularly like how he’s teaching my son to listen to music, hear the drum elements and then replicate them (not just teach from sheet music). He gets my son to choose the music he wants to play so has high engagement from him. Nick has always been very flexible when I need to move lesson times. And he’s a lovely guy. Definitely recommend him.
Highly recommend Nick! My son absolutely loves learning the drums from him and looks forward to his lesson each week. Nick is a lovely guy - easygoing, knowledgeable and super patient too. He makes the lessons fun while still focusing on important technique and musicianship. As someone who grew up playing music, I know how important having the right teacher is - and am so glad we have Nick teaching our son!
Nick teaches drums to my 8yr old son. He is a great teacher and totally understands how to get the most out of each lesson. He’s patient and encouraging and we’ve been really impressed with the progress that our son has made. During lockdown Nick was flexible, teaching over Skype, and we now have a lesson in person once a week, as well a mini virtual lesson to get more practice in each week. I love the way each class is made to cater to my son’s favourite music or song of the moment. Highly recommend!
Nick is a fantastic teacher, he teaches my 8 year old son and I notice improvements every single lesson. He is patient, kind and knows when to push vs when to just let him go with the flow. He practices with music that my son loves, which makes a huge difference to how willingly and how fast he learns. Highly recommended!
Nick is such a wonderful, talented and patient drum teacher. Our boys aged 9 and 7 have weekly lessons and they are learning so much and look forward to seeing him every week. Thank you Nick for going over and above to ensure the boys have the best learning experience. You are a fabulous teacher.

Nick has the patience of a Saint. He tailors lessons to suit my son's interests but always making sure he's progressing and challenging himself and not getting bored while learning the fundamentals. Nick is very generous, friendly and open. The perfect fit for our family's needs.
Great teacher. Nick listens to my goals and caters the lessons to them, remaining engaged the entire session. He identified ways to improve my technique very and allowed me to work at my own pace. The lessons are good value for money and there's no wasted time! The online sessions are very effective, with great attention to detail.
