For the first time since 2019, my teaching studio is now open to the public with new spots available for interested saxophone and piano students. Having taught within professional settings since 2016 I am happy to now be available for anyone seeking to improve their musical understanding and abilities.

Since 2018 I have been employed as a Specialist Music Tutor at several of Brisbane’s leading secondary schools e.g. Sheldon College, John Paul College, St. John’s Anglican College.

I have been fortunate to experience the joy of several long-term students developing into accomplished musicians.
Notable student achievements have included: receiving secondary tuition scholarships for musical excellence, successfully auditioning for the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University’s Bachelor of Music program, being awarded 1st prize and other top placements from distinguished eisteddfods and competitions, being selected for SHEP (State Honours Ensemble Program) events, and successfully auditioning for various selective youth orchestras (QYO, SCYO).

My teaching method seeks to provide students with a balanced understanding of technique and repertoire that will allow them to take on any musical setting with ease. I am also well experienced with the AMEB music examination system and have assisted students from a wide range of levels spanning foundational to AMus Diploma level.

Lessons are open to students of all levels and take place from my home in Camp Hill each Monday during the school term.
