Nicole Molloy

  • BMus (Hons)

I have a Bachelor of Music (Honours) in clarinet performance. I have been playing for more than thirty years and teaching for over a decade. I am actively involved in a number of music ensembles and musical theatre, playing in both professional and amateur ensembles and productions.

I have vacancies for lessons at my home in Golden Grove on clarinet, saxophone or flute. Theory and aural lessons are also available upon request.

Are you an adult beginner? It’s never too late to start learning! Why not give it a go?!

Want to learn just for fun? Want to play Disney and movie themes, dabble in jazz, or play in a group with friends and in community ensembles? I strongly encourage ensemble playing for those wishing to learn for fun as this can be a most rewarding and musically rich experience.

Want to do AMEB exams or prepare for senior level school assessments? I have many years of experience in preparing students for Australian Music Board exams and SACE Stage 1 and 2 with good results from all students. I promote good technique from the first lesson, focusing on good embouchure, posture and breathing. I encourage and promote as many performance opportunities as possible such as Eisteddfods, student concerts, ensemble playing and playing in front of family members/friends to gain the most experience in playing in front of audiences.
