About Me: I have been playing the violin since I was 4 years old. I was in love from the first touch and have spent my life learning, making music with friends, sharing music with people from all walks of life and have also been lucky enough to have a wonderful career giving concerts all over the world. It is a privilege to pass on my knowledge and skills to the next generation and provide violin lessons and training to young people who are also passionate about making music and wanting to grow in their skills but also grow as a person.

My commitment to my students: To nurture and inspire the gift of music: To tailor make learning plans based on the individual by choosing repertoire that will inspire and challenge: To provide a healthy, balanced musical diet that nourishes and supports growth, but also has variety and flavour: To encourage performance, examination and ensemble opportunities: To nurture development of important life skills such as organisation and goal setting within the context of a healthy and thriving practice routine.

A flourishing teacher/student relationship requires mutual values and commitment to learning.
