Noble Academy’s AMEB Music Theory Group Class is designed to support students in developing the essential theoretical knowledge that complements and enhances their instrumental or vocal studies. Ideal for students preparing for AMEB Theory of Music exams (Grades 1–5) or seeking a deeper understanding of how music works, this class helps build confidence in reading, writing, and analysing music.

Led by experienced and supportive instructors, the class takes a structured yet engaging approach—balancing clear explanations with interactive activities and practical applications.

What Students Will Learn:

  • Musical notation, key signatures, time signatures, and intervals
  • Scales, chords, harmony, and transposition
  • Rhythmic dictation and melodic construction
  • Score reading and aural connection to theory concepts
  • Exam strategies and guided practice for AMEB theory exams

Class Format:

Small group setting (4–6 students per class) for focused attention

Weekly 60–90 minute sessions

Suitable for students aged 6+ who have at least 1 year of instrumental study
