Oli Nelson

Hi, I'm Oli Nelson, a passionate Drummer from Sydney NSW. I love working with students of all ages to help them achieve their musical goals. Having taught many students since 2011 I know from experience that there is no one-size-fits-all approach. I strive to tailor each lesson to the student's personality and learning style whilst keeping things lighthearted and fun! I believe true learning can only be conducted by fostering a sense of curiosity and joy.

I hold a Bachelor in Music Performance (Jazz) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and have performed professionally, both in Australia and internationally, from age 18. I came 2nd In the 2018 National Jazz Awards and am a recipient of the James Morrison Jazz Scholarship.
