Hi there! Thanks for viewing my profile. If you’re looking for Clarinet lessons I’d be very happy to help. Over the past three years I have developed extensive experience teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced students. My goal is to enable students to achieve their practice/performance goals whilst supporting their overall musical and technical growth. I am particularly interested in assisting students to develop their technical proficiency on the instrument, as well as building good habits with embouchure, breathing and posture.
In 2024 I was appointed Clarinet teacher for Dunhuang Arts Academy in Box Hill Melbourne. During this time, I assisted various students with their development and supported their preparations towards AMEB exams and school performances. Most recently, I coached some young clarinettists as part of the 2025 Sydney Symphony young musicians workshop, where I prepared them for an orchestral performance and gave a masterclass. I have also provided Clarinet tuition at schools, as well as private lessons.
I am very fortunate to have an active performance career, freelancing across Australia with orchestras such as the Melbourne Symphony, Orchestra Victoria, Sydney Symphony, Tasmanian Symphony and West Australian Symphony Orchestra. I graduated from the University of Western Australia Conservatorium of Music in 2019, followed by a further three years of training at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM). I have since been selected for the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Academy (2023) and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra Fellowship (2025).
