Peter is an experienced teacher and player, and has recently moved back to Perth from London, UK.

He gained a First Class Honours Degree in Flute Performance from the Royal Academy of Music, after winning a large scholarship there in 2016. He has performed and recorded with numerous world class groups including the English National Ballet, Knussen Chamber Orchestra, and the UK Musical Tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, to name a few.

Peter Havlat has taught woodwind, piano and theory students of all ages and from all backgrounds for the past five years, including at Schools and organisations such as Tiffin Boys School (UK), Sutton Music Service (UK), Nonsuch School (UK) and more. He is an experienced piano accompanist and can accompany all of his students.

He possesses a diploma in pedagogical practice from the Royal Academy of Music (the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music), and is well versed in teaching safeguarding practices.

Peter is an inspirational teacher, and very much enjoys sharing his love for music!
