Extensive commercial music performance background forged from private classical Trombone tuition, casual employment with professional orchestras and graduate of the NSW State Conservatorium of Music Jazz program.
Interspersed throughout a well-travelled stylistic career are performances, brass section arrangements, touring and recording for legendary and independent Australian contemporary artists, along with performing in professional theatre seasons, television orchestras and backing international artists.
Performing for twelve months in one of Africa’s first five-star multi-racial nightclubs during the Apartheid era launched interest and involvement with music from other cultures - in particular Brazil, Cuba, Africa, Jamaica and the Caribbean.

With an interest in new music across all genres, I regularly pursue my development in music training, practice, performance, and education.

A strong supporter of new music performance and education, I presently teach music, direct ensembles, and deliver lessons, workshops and performances in my private studio, at the Riverina Conservatorium of Music and in school music programs - along with playing music independently in a wide range of styles.
