With 30+ years of instrument teaching experience on all stringed instrument, Phil has been a part of hundreds of music students lives across Australia, from Hometown Geelong to far flung far North Queensland. After taking a couple years sabbatical from music following the Pandemic, to test new ideas and experiences, Phil is again ready to share his skills and understanding with other passionate lovers of the played instrument. A consistent performer on Double Bass with the Geelong Symphony Orchestra, a frequent contributor to musical theatre pit orchestras and always involved in collaborations, Phil practices what he preaches. This ensures you will only get the most relevant and practical instruction with an absolute focus on your own journey.
