Philippa wishes to extend a warm welcome to students of all ages from children to adults.
Students will benefit from her specialist teaching in music and her individualised attention, enthusiasm, and commitment!
Originally from Brisbane, Philippa completed her Master’s degree at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, specialising in the art of teaching private piano (Keyboard Pedagogy). Upon graduating, and receiving a Griffith Award for Academic Excellence, she relocated to Sydney to share her knowledge and establish herself in the music education community here.
Philippa achieved a Diploma of ‘Associate in Music’ (AMusA) for Piano Performance, under the tutelage of Esther Lee, with the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB). She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Griffith University which has shaped her creative thinking and excellent communication skills.
She has had over 13 years of teaching experience. She also has a high level of personal musicianship and a strong passion for teaching and would love to bring this knowledge, patience, and dedication to students of all ages.
