This is one of my favourite quotes. As a professional musician and teacher of over 40 years experience, I can confidently testify to the truth of the quote. Learning an instrument brings pleasure, provides nourishment for the soul - and it's fun!

Private piano lessons are individually tailored, with the aim of developing technique, good posture and a wide range in repertoire The goal is for a well-rounded music education, with skills in reading, sight-reading and aural recognition. Exam preparation for AMEB, AGMS, ABRSM are encouraged for those who are interested. Many who prefer to learn to leisure can opt to explore particular genres of their interest and develop their skills along those lines.

Concerts for friends and families are held every term. These are social occasions for students to share works they have learned and enjoyed from their lessons. It is a relaxed way to celebrate music.
