Selection Criteria:
We are now seeking part-time teachers who are available to start term 1, 2019. To become a teacher with Primary Music Institute you will need:
Passion for sharing the gift of music with children.
Playing skills at least equivalent to AMEB Grade 5 on main instrument.
Some teaching experience is desirable, and the ideal candidate must have the ability to teach both keyboard AND guitar.
Willingness to drive significant distances during the working week.
Must have a current drivers license and your own reliable car.
Long-term and exclusive commitment to this role.
Flexibility to adjust to changing schedule on short-notice.
Demonstrated reliability (i.e. not missing lessons or late for lessons in any circumstances).
The ability to relate well to children, parents and school staff.
Satisfactory Working With Children Check prior to starting.
