Pru Daniel

  • BA Music Theatre (WAAPA)

Hi there.

My name is Pru and I'm a Melbourne-based singing teacher and actor with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

I have been teaching for eight years and I teach all ages and all levels of experience, from absolute beginners to seasoned veterans.

Singing is a highly individual form of expression in which no two instruments are the same - physiologically and emotionally. It's for this reason that I strongly believe private tuition is an excellent way to tap into the more precise and intricate needs and goals of each individual singer.

While I specialise in Musical Theatre, I am also well-versed in Classical, Jazz, Pop and Folk. In addition to vocal training I also provide guidance in performance and acting, as well as music theory and repertoire.

I currently hold a Victoria Working With Children Check.

If you're interested in reaching out, please send me an email at:

My rates are:
$45 for 30min
$70 for 1h

I look forward to hearing from you.

A little more about me…

Originally from Sydney, I grew up in a musical family and was involved in dance from a very young age. As I got older I then began to branch out into music, singing and acting through private tuition, then eventually through school and community theatre.

During my school years I appeared in the NSW Schools Spectacular as a Featured Vocalist, as well as a Featured Vocalist at the NSW Arts Unit's Arts North Secondary Music Festival, before then being invited to perform as a soloist at the Arts North Primary Music Festival at Sydney Opera House.

I graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2018 with a BA in Music Theatre, where I had the opportunity to portray many roles including Dot in Sunday in the Park With George, Vanessa in In the Heights, and Simon in Lord of the Flies. I was also a recipient of the annually-awarded Leslie Andersen Award.

Since graduating I have appeared in national commercials, as well as live theatre, including Not All Dictators and Same But Different at La Mama Theatre. I have also appeared in numerous workshops for new works, including my some of my own.
