Our teachers are qualified teaching professionals or are in the process of becoming qualified. The Association requests evidence that a member possesses a Blue Card. However we do stipulate parents request to see a teacher’s card.
We provide regular professional development, mentoring, discounts on insurance and other businesses (such as music store purchases) and provide support for our teachers. MTAQ also provides performance and competition opportunities for students. Our members receive a monthly news e-bulletin, a Journal - issued to members three times each year and regular emails of upcoming events.
