Rachel is a dedicated and caring teacher. She always provides a positive lesson environment suitable to the individual’s needs. Her lessons combine a variety of pedagogies through an approach that promotes and ensures musicality and technique.
Rachel is now an experienced and all-round musician. She has performed in Melbourne, Sydney, Spain, Portugal, Brazil, Salzburg in Austria, the USA, regional Victoria and regional NSW. She has performed in auspicious venues such as Melbourne Recital Centre, the Iwaki Auditorium, Sydney Opera House and The Benedum Theatre. Rachel has participated in several orchestras including the Pittsburgh Ballet Orchestra and the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, as well as in chamber ensembles.
She hopes to pass on her love of music and her knowledge of music to keen learners locally. Her teaching aim is to join with people of all ages in creating a deeper love of music.
