Flute Lessons, Classical & Jazz

Rachelle is a passionate teacher and has been teaching the flute for over 20 years. What sets her apart from other teachers is her strong foundation in both jazz and classical flute and her ability to teach a wide range of music. Her teaching style is friendly and fun, with the aim being to create self-fulfilment and self-directed results.

Rachelle has a strong emphasis on technique and uses an integrated approach to teaching, developing all aspects of musicianship. She does this using creative approaches which are fun and inspiring. Rachelle teaches improvisation as well which is a fun creative outlet for students.

Rachelle has had a lot of success teaching her New Zealand students over skype and has spaces available to offer her expertise to new students. Students may enter jazz or classical exams through either Trinity College London or ABRSM all the way through to diploma level.
