Queensland Music Award winner Ray Lin is a versatile composer, arranger, and conductor with specializations in orchestral, chamber, film & TV, cross-over, and popular music. His music has been performed internationally in the US and China; and featured through a range of prestigious local, state, and national venues and platforms in Australia, including QPAC, Brisbane City Hall, 4MBS Classic FM, Old Museum Concert Hall, GOMA, and more. Ray’s music has been performed by the Queensland Pops Orchestra, Topology, Queensland Conservatorium Symphony, and Wind orchestras, members from Ba Ban Chinese Music Society of New York, Orchestral Naturalis (QCGU), and others.

Ray is an experienced educator for guitars and music theory; and he holds Grade 8 certificate for both Contemporary Guitar (AMEB) and Bass Guitar (Rock School), AMEB music theory (grade 6). In recently years Ray have enjoyed great successes with his education journey, from having successfully tutored many of his students to achieve great results in numerous examinations including the AMEB Theory Graded Exams and AMEB/Rock school guitar exams; as well as coaching students who inspired to attend a tertiary music school to prepare for auditions, etc.
