Students 18+ to Mature ONLY

I am a mature musician with more than 40 years experience as a professional player & teacher.

DRUM Teaching
I am trained in contemporary, rock, brass band, & orchestral styles, and have played with many top musicians in Perth, and backed both WA and Eastern States artists.

GUITAR Teaching
As well as being an accomplished drummer, I have been a singer-guitarist in duos, trios & bands for many years,

I have played drums and guitar (including vocals) professionally in; Pop, Rock, Swing/Jazz, and Country bands in and around Perth since I was 15 yrs old.

I teach most contemporary modern styles including; rock, pop, blues, & 'cruisy'.

Note: I do not teach; jazz, thrash, metal, grunge etc, or classical.

I have been involved in numerous recording sessions for both private and commercial clients.

I have my own private studio for teaching, rehearsing & recording.

Note: I ONLY teach Adults/Mature age students.

When required, I use the Trinity Guildhall / Rock & Pop method of teaching / examining both drums & guitar for the appropriate student. And/or combined with an approach relevant to student needs and musical preferences.

While musical theory, and the ability to read music is important, it is not always necessary to enjoy playing.

Lesson durations are between 30-60 mins, Standard rate is $1 / min.
Eg. $30 for 30 mins.
