Bachelor of Music
Rebecca has completed a Bachelor of Music and numerous grades in AMEB Piano performance. She teaching singing and piano to students from all ages 6yrs and above.
Rebecca Hart is a 21 year old French/Australian mezzo-soprano currently studying for her Master of Music Studies (Opera Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, under the tutelage of Dr.Narelle Yeo. She is a recipient of the Dr. Harris Philip Greenberg and Olav Gurney-Jensen Scholarship, and the Patricia Lucas Music Achievement Scholarship.
In 2016, Rebecca had her operatic solo debut as Lady Jane in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Opera Society’s production of Patience. In 2017, she performed as Prince Orlofsky in Operantics’ Die Fledermaus also as Ramiro in La Finta Giardiniera, and Endimione in the Sydney Conservatorium Opera Studio’s production of La Calisto.
She has featured in numerous solo recitals, concerts and orchestral works such as Mozart’s ‘Requiem’, Vivaldi’s ‘Gloria’ and Rossini’s ‘Petite Messe Solenelle’.
Rebecca was awarded the Evelyn Hall de Izal Memorial Award for Mezzo-Soprano/Contralto voice at the 2016 Sydney Eisteddfod and was a finalist in the 17-20 Vocal Scholarship in 2016.
