Rhordan Stephens

Hi I'm Rhordan, a violin teacher with 4 years of teaching experience. I have experience teaching solo classes as well has classrooms of violin students working with Hills Adventist school, Dol Dol Music school and Morgan Music school
I am highly accomplished in violin playing and music theory with a breadth of experience in violin performance as well as ensemble work.

I was lucky enough to receive 10 years of teaching from Sheau Fang Low, (Masters in Violin Pedagogy) as well as lessons and workshops with Conservatorium of Music teachers such as Janet Davies. I have also had Alexander Technique lessons, focusing on holistic playing posture.

I focus on developing a well-rounded, enthusiastic musician, covering technique, music theory and aural skills to help my students feel confidence in their playing.

• Roger Woodward Award Baroque Prize (2017)
• 12 years of ensemble play, from quartets to symphony orchestras

I am based in Turrumurra and teach out of my home studio and at student's houses. I also teach around Thornleigh and Hornsby. I charge $40 per half hour.
