Rhys Little is a highly skilled young performer and composer.
He is currently enrolled at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (University of Sydney), completing his Bachelor of Music (Composition)Honours on a full scholarship. Rhys attended the Conservatorium High School from year 7-12, majoring in Euphonium performance and Composition. He has a wealth of more than 12 years musical experience, having performed major works with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, the Sydney Philharmonia Choirs, VOX, The Arts Unit Symphonic Wind Ensemble (SWE) and Symphonic Wind Orchestra, Willoughby City Brass Band, Sydney Conservatorium Orchestra and Choir, among others. This experience includes much of the most important classical repetoire. His two most notable tutors include Jack Symonds (Artistic Director, Sydney Chamber Opera), Steve Rossé (Principal Tuba, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Professor and Lecturer of Tuba, Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM)), Paul Stanhope, Carl Vine and Trevor Piece among others.
Rhys is available to tutor composition, music theory, aural skills and lower brass, privately or to groups of any size. He is also available for to compose or arrange in any classical style or other suitable style.
