My purpose as a music tutor is to explore the creativity within the student, to develop personal confidence and the set of skills necessary to master a musical instrument, and to engage the studies with excitement, fun and an achievement plan.

Each student gets a tailored program based on their experience and goals, going through exercising, general understanding of theory & how to apply that into practice and development of repertoire.

I am a working musician and currently teach guitar (acoustic, classical and electric), bass, ukulele and drums.

Short bio:
=======
Brazilian artist, 7-string guitarist & singer specialised in Choro, Samba & MPB (Música Popular Brasileira).

I have been involved with music since very young age and at the beginning of my career, as a self-taught musician, I crossed the majority of musical genres and started playing music professionally in the early 2000’s in my home town, focusing on Rock and Pop-Rock repertoires.

Based in Sydney, Australia since 2012, my work shifted to developing and sharing the music from my country abroad, creating and joining Choro & Samba groups that range from trios to 9-piece funky ensembles performing in the most prestigious venues in the country.

More recently, I studied at the Brazilian School of Choro Raphael Rabello and have been exploring in depth the 7-string guitar with one of the greatest guitarists in this niche, Fernando César (Hamilton de Holanda’s brother), and this has been the main instrument in my music since 2015.
